Pope Benedict XVI Visit in Regensburg

Pope Benedict XVI visited Regensburg, Germany Last September 12, 2006. I was there. That was a great experience celebrating the holy mass with the Supreme Pontiff of the Universal Church. Can you imagine hundreds of thousands of people gathered together in order to attend and to witness this Holy Celebration of the mass.

Pope Benedict XVI (Latin: Benedictus PP. He was elected on 19 April 2005 in a papal conclave, celebrated his Papal Inauguration Mass on 24 April 2005, and took possession of his cathedral, the Basilica of St. John Lateran, on 7 May 2005. Pope Benedict XVI has both German and Vatican citizenship. He succeeded Pope John Paul II.
