Travel and Explore Jura Volksfest in Neumarkt id Opf., Bavaria

The weather was perfect today as we witnessed the Jura Volksfest Festzug, or the Jura Public Festival Parade in Neumarkt in the Upper Palatinate in Bavaria, Germany. The parade started around 2PM and was participated by more than 100 groups from different neighboring towns and cities. The so-called Jura Volksfest started last Friday and will last until 17th of this month.

Each group featured different motives, colorful dresses, national costumes, culture and tradition and a lot more. After the parade we proceeded to the area where the Festival is taking place. more photos and updates to come! Have fun watching the photos here!

participants of this group wore colourful costumes..feel free to click the photos to enlarge..The building you see in the background with the tower is the City Hall in Neumarkt.
