Gäubodenvolksfest in Straubing, Bavaria

I got a follow-up post from my previous entry. I just mentioned Gäubodenvolksfest in Straubing in Bavaria, Germany. As far as I know, this folk festival is the second largest festival next to Oktoberfest in Munich. According to the flyer that I read, it was founded by Maximilian I Joseph, King of Bavaria in the year 1812 as an agricultural festival to organize an annual meeting of the people in the Danube region. As usual German delicacies were present during the festival. German sausages, pretzel and other delicacies from other countries are also available. Beer is the number drink I guess. There are seven huge beer tents that host more than 20,000 guests and visitors. More than a million of people visited the said festival every year.

Don’t you know that there were car accidents that happened on the motorway as this festival was celebrated. That was quite a sad story because some people lost their lives. Maybe because they drove with the influence of alcohol? Anyway if you live in Oakland and need the assistance for your car accident lawsuit, Oakland motorcycle accident lawyer is there to help you. Simply click this highlighted words and it will direct you to their site. I guess it is enough for now. You are very welcome to visit my other blog sites! Have a wonderful weekend ahead!
