Driving During Winter Season in Germany

Driving winter season especially in German autobahn or motorways (also called highways) can be very dangerous. When the road is wet it can cause aqua planning and sometimes can be very icy especially early in the morning. There were a lot of people who lost their lives during this month’s first snow fall. If you hear the traffic news over the radio every thirty minutes, you always hear Unfall Bericht or accident news from all over Germany. Sometimes when big accidents happened, you even need to hire professional lawyers to take care of the case. It is the same especially if you live in any European countries or maybe in United States, Canada and other first world countries. You can hire Tacoma car accident lawyer if ever you live in this place.

This photo I have here was taken last February this year near our place. I drive this so-called back road almost two to three times a week to go for grocery shopping or when there is anything that we need badly. Sometimes this road is full of snow when it is snowing very hard. All drivers out there, be careful and drive safely especially during winter time.

Hi! I am planning a road trip this December in Germany. I was wondering if using snow chains is required by law on German roads during snowy periods.
