This is my first time to share about Kirchweih in Germany. Kirchweih is a church celebration in Germany which started during the middle ages. It is something like a Parish or Church fair. During this festival, there are sometimes a parade taking place and a mass in the church. We witnessed the Kirchweih or Parish fair parade in Lengenfeld last Sunday. Most of the participants during the parade were riding a horse with carriages as you can see in the photo I took here. These horses were adorned with some attractive decors. This was the first time I saw a Kirchweih parade because HB's twin sister invited us to party in their house after the parade. Last but not the least.
