Shopping Experience in Germany

I did ordered online a camera in Neckermann last week. I think that was Monday. The order came around Wednesday. I opened the box immediately to check if all the items are complete. Sad to say some articles were missing. I sent a follow-up email the same day but what I got are only automated replies. Last Friday, I also called their customer service hotline but the service representative seems to be very unfriendly as I heard the tone from his voice. I burst out to frustration and decided to return the camera. I sent it back last Monday and I am happy to find a better and cheaper one now. I just want the missing items but due to bad customer service, I ended up returning it. Sometimes, it is also better to shop products on cardboard display rather than shopping online because you see it face to face. I already had a lot of frustrating shopping experiences in Germany. I just expect the people who are engage in sales and retail to provide friendly customer service but sometimes it is just frustrating. I am happy somtimes when I experience good customer service here. And yes, I did have great shopping experiences too. More updates later. Good morning!
