Working in Germany
Let me share a bit about my own experience in this country. Before you migrate or live in Germany, please consider some things especially if you want to work here. Per my experience, my degree and work experience as a banker and accountant for almost nine years back home is not recognized here. This is especially true if you want to work for a German employer. It means that I am back to zero and have to go back to school again. The big problem is the German language which I need to study first and be fluent about it. Of course, I can basically speak, read and understand German because I am already a German citizen now. I have a B1 German language certificate and if I really want to go back to college or University I need to have the C1 certificate in which I need around 1,000 hours to learn German language.
For example if you want to go for healthcare jobs like caregiver in a Nursing Home, you also need the so-called Ausbildung in German which means a Practicum for around three years. At the same time you also need to go to school. This is only some info if ever you want to migrate here especially if you are coming from third world countries. Germany is beautiful and I love it here but there are also some things here that you need to consider.

Train in Germany
Trains are one of the main public transportation in Germany. The one shown in this picture is the so-called Inter City Express or the ICE trains that connects big cities in Germany. This is also considered as the fastest public transportation. I have read in one travel book that a lot of European countries envied Germany because of its modern transportation especially the trains. I have been riding trains already since I got in Germany. Honestly speaking, I am very afraid to ride the train before because I don't understand German language. I am very much afraid that I can't reach my destination. Since I already learned basic German language, being a German citizen now, I already have the guts to travel the train alone. I love it and it is less stress compared to driving my car. Don't miss to ride the train in Germany once you visit here!!

Oscar Schindler in Regensburg, Germany
Oskar Schindler (April 28, 1908 – September 10, 1974) was a Sudeten German industrialist credited with saving almost 1,200 Jews during the Holocaust by having them work in his enamelware and ammunitions factories located in what is now Poland and the Czech Republic respectively. He was the subject of the book Schindler's Ark, and the film based on it, Schindler's List.

Audi Car factory in Ingolstadt
a photo taken inside Audi Auto Factory during an escapade with friend Dae Loy last June 2007 ...do you know how much this car cost??? only around 120,000 euros!! darn!! can't truly afford that!!
Ingolstadt is mentioned in the novel Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. It is the birthplace of the monster as created by the scientist Victor Frankenstein.
The headquarters of the German automobile manufacturer Audi are located in Ingolstadt, as well as the headquarters of the electronic stores MediaMarkt and Saturn. Ingolstadt station has been connected to Nuremberg by a high-speed rail link since May 2006.

at the bridge overlooking the Fortress Marienberg
Fortress Marienberg (German: Festung Marienberg) is a prominent landmark on the Main river in Würzburg, Germany. It has been a fort since ancient times. After Gustavus Adolphus of Sweden conquered the area in 1631, the castle was reconstructed in the Baroque style. Today, it is a park and museum. In 704 A.D., the Marienkirche was built atop a former Celtic shelter and in the 13th century was surrounded by the first fortification. In 1482, the main castle was encircled by a medieval ring wall with the Scherenberg gate. Some of the parts of the fortress accessible to the public are the Scherenberg-Tor (Gate) the Burgfried (keep), a chapel, a well house, Bibra Stairs / Lorenz von Bibra apartments, and the Julius Echter Apartments.
In May 1525, during the Peasants' War (Bauernkrieg), a peasant army of 15,000 men surrounded the fortification (seat of the bishop of Würzburg) but could not penetrate the concentric walls built on a steep incline. When their leader, Florian Geyer, went to Rothenburg ob der Tauber in early June to procure the heavy guns needed to at least attempt to breach the walls, the leaderless peasant army camped out around the castle, allowed themselves to be outflanked by a professional army in the service of the bishop. More than 8,000 peasants were either slaughtered or blinded on the bishop's orders. The Nazis would lionize Florian Geyer 410 years later, as part of the National Socialists' desire to connect with the common man and turn them away from the Catholic Church.
In about 1600, Julius Echter rebuilt the fortress into a Renaissance palace. After the conquest by Gustav II Adolf of Sweden in 1631 (Thirty Years War), the fortress was reconstructed as an even more formidable baroque fortification, and a princely park was laid out.
Still, during the Napoleonic Wars, the fortress was captured and, of course, the fortress wasn't defended in 1945 when the US Army quickly captured the side of the Main river on which Marienberg is located, across from the city center of Würzburg.
The Baroque Armory, built 1702-1712, houses the Mainfränkisches Museum, an excellent collection of Franconian works of art, including world-famous sculptures by Tilman Riemenschneider. The Fürstenbau Museum in the princes’ wing of the fortress offers a stroll through 1200 years of Würzburg’s history. The mighty Fortress Marienberg is the symbol of Würzburg and served as a home of the prince-bishops for nearly five centuries.

Winter in Hohenfels, Germany
It is winter time now in Germany. The weather is really freezing cold. It means that temperature ranges to sub zero temperature especially in the night. Oh well, this is one of the most interesting time here in Germany, fighting with the cold weather everytime if you go outside. You have to get used to it already. I also see the beauty of the winter time especially when the trees are covered with snow. Such a lovely and romantic scene! Look at this picture here! isn't it beautiful? I will try to upload more photos here so that you can see more places in Germany especially the ones that I had been too!! see you later !!
