Fasching or carnival in Dietfurt, Germany

I came back quite late to witness the Fasching or Carnival in Dietfurt. Fasching which is also called Karneval or Fastnacht in German or Carnaval or carnival in English is a kind of festival which occurs immediately before lent. Today is called Fasching Dienstag in German language. It is also known as Shrove Tuesday, a day before Ash Wednesday. The picture you see below is a Chinese Fasching from Feb. 2009 in Dietfurt in Bavaria, Germany. We had fun witnessing it lasts year. It was one of the best carnival I had seen in Upper Palatinate in the state of Bavaria, Germany.
