Internet Black-Out in Germany

I heard about the internet black-out in Germany as we were having dinner this afternoon. This is the first time that I heard such news over the internet black-out in Germany. I did not open my computer until 6:00 pm tonight, so I guess the black-out happened some time this afternoon. Most of the sites that you can’t open are with the .de sites. Anyway, I also read it just now in yahoo.de news. Feel free to read it below.

Since Wednesday afternoon, there are problems in the DNS root servers Denic (Deutsches Network Information Center). The result: More and more sites Germany can no longer be called.

The cause of the problem is already resolved. Debt was probably the move of some services Denic from Amsterdam to Frankfurt. Planned, was that these services during the move for members and domain owners were not available. Not, however, that the DNS server for. Should turn de-addresses. In the wake of the disturbances and the mail transport in Germany has been massively disrupted. The name servers Denic work again now. However, there may well be several hours before all sites are accessible again.
