The Beautiful Ceiling of Mariahilf Church in Freystadt

This is the beautiful ceiling of the Wallfahrtskirche Mariahilf in Freystadt in Upper Palatinate, Bavaria, Germany. Thus church was built from 1700-1710 by Giovanni Antonio Viscardi. I was truly amazed by the frescos on the ceiling. You can’t see any ceiling fans because even during our visit, it is quite cold inside. The dome of this church was decorated by Pietro Francesco Appiani. The frescos were made by George Lang. What a beautiful church indeed!

This church is also called in English, the Pilgrimage church of Our Lady of Help.
