Travel and Explore Passau in Bavaria, Germany

Passau is a town in Lower Bavaria, Germany. It is known as the Dreiflüssestadt or the City of Three Rivers. The Danube is joined there by the Inn from the South, and the Ilz coming out of the Bavarian Forest to the North. This town is full of history and interesting sights like the St. Stephen’s Cathedral, Veste Oberhaus and some museums and other architecture. It is renowned in Germany for its institutes of Economics, Law, Theology, Computer Sciences and Cultural Science. Here are some of the pictures I took during our visit last November 2009.

The Veste Oberhaus on top of the hill and the boat where you can go cruising in Passau and other nearby towns and cities.

One of the churches in Passau. I am not so sure now if this is St. Michael’s Church in Passau.
