First German Wedding I Attended

I am not talking about travel and places this time but I will be talking about some sort of German culture and tradition. I will be sharing about the first German wedding celebration I attended. It was in October 2007 where I first witnessed a Church wedding. My husband’s niece was getting married that time. Don’t ask me guys if she was given a Black Diamond Engagement Ring during that time. But anyway, the wedding ceremony in the Catholic Church is almost the same as in my home country.

After the ceremony, we proceeded to the reception in a restaurant. A so-called Vorspeise or starter were served first. It was followed with the main dishes and later the desserts. They also have a program during the wedding. I can’t believed that like in the Philippines the bride and the groom, while dancing will also be pinned with bills on their wedding dress and costumes. I should take an image of that but it was already out of my mind. That was a very wonderful and orderly German wedding I first attended. Here is an image I took of these lovely couple.
