KMCC BX/PX Mall Complex in Ramstein, Germany

I should be in Ramstein last Friday until Tuesday. Since I have a lot of things to do plus getting ready for my coming trip to Monaco and France in a couple of days, I declined a friend’s invitation to go with her. I’m sorry about that Miss M.

Ramstein-Miesenbach, commonly called as Ramstein is a a municipality in the district of Kaiserslautern in Rhineland-Palatinate in Germany. This is where the Ramstein Air Base, United States Air Force (USAF) base in the German state of Rheinland-Pfalz is located.

The BX/PX (base exchange/post exchange) is located in Ramstein Air Base. It has several American restaurants including a Chili’s and Romano’s Macaroni Grill. Several well-stocked libraries, the commissary and other facilities are also located in the area. The site of the largest AAFES shopping center in Europe, the Kaiserslautern Military Community Center (KMCC) is the biggest attraction to Ramstein AB for the military. It opened on September 21, 2009.

A friend from Ramstein invited me during the opening of the said mall and at the same time to visit them in that place. Last May 2010, we visited them to also attend the birthday party of her husband.
