I can still remember the first time I arrived in Germany. Everything was new to me, the people, the culture, the places and most of all the language. I once told a friend that I can never learn German language because it was so difficult to know it. During my first three years, I never speak and understand German especially that I was prone to speak English everyday, being a worker in one of the U.S. bases here.
It was sad to say goodbye to my job but I have no choice, besides I really need to go to German school for some months to learn German. I attended the so-called German Integration Course. Due to my interest to learn German, I had succeeded in doing it. I can basically read, speak and understand German after passing the B1 German certificate. I wish to learn a perfect German language and grammar and hopefully would love to take this so-called Speech-Language Pathologist Jobs when given the chance.
I am quite happy and contented with my life now in Germany. After learning its culture and tradition, its people and Germany itself, I can say that I did successfully integrated in this country. Now, I consider Germany as my second home. Ich liebe Deutschland! ( I love Germany!)
