Winter Visit to Neuschwanstein Castle

It seems that we are not having a white Christmas this year. Since living in Germany for more than eight years now, this is the first time that I won’t experience a white Christmas.

It was very white when we visited Neuschwanstein Castle almost a year ago. There were a lot of snow that time and it was truly perfect for white Christmas. Hopefully in my next visit during summer season, I can already spend some overnights in one of those kelty tents. There a lot of camping areas near Neuschwanstein like in Fuessen. This is also a perfect place to go camping, hiking and mountain climbing. Our hotel is located near this area during my first visit there last 2006. I cannot forget it because it was my birthday vacation. It is always nice to remember past holidays and travels. I am wishing for more in 2012.

The image I have here is a part of Neuschwanstein castle in Hohenschwangau, Bavaria.

Have a blessed and meaningful Christmas to everyone!
