My Second Visit in Nymphenburg Palace in Munich

I really don’t mind visiting a certain place or sight for a lot of times. There are a lot of cities, towns and villages in Germany where I  visit often and I never get bored doing it. Different seasons of the year makes a certain place looks different.

I had the second chance to visit Nymphenburg Palace in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. It is a beautiful palace with lovely parks and known to be one of the famous sights in Bavaria’s capital city.

King Ludwig II, the king of Bavaria was born here in 1845.

At the front of  Nymphenburg Palace where the entrance is also located.

The palace was commissioned by the prince-electoral couple Ferdinand Maria and Henriette Adelaide of Savoy to the designs of the Italian architect Agostino Barelli in 1664 after the birth of their son Maximilian II Emanuel.

The grand parterre  located at the back of the palace.

These photos were taken during my second visit last May 2012.
