Travel and Explore Stuttgart, Germany

It’s been almost 2 years  now since we visited Stuttgart. It is the sixth-largest city in Germany and the capital of the state of Baden-Württemberg in southern part of this country. It is probably an hour drive from the Black Forest. We did took the train during our visit in this city. We only had a day-trip there and it was not enough to see everything. At least we saw some of its main sights like the Old Castle, the Town Hall, New Castle, State Opera House and a lot more.

The highlight of our trip was the visit to its famous festival, the Cannstatter Volksfest in the district of ‘Bad Cannstatt’. Images from this festival in my future post.

The Music Pavilion and the Königsbau or King’s Building in the background. This was taken during our visit last October 2010.
