Visiting Berlin During Winter Season

I did not see any snow but it was really very cold in Berlin that time. It was during the month of February when I go with a bus trip from Bavaria to this city.  A day or two in Berlin is not really enough to see all the sights but I am happy that I was there once. I am planning to come back when I have the chance.

Berlin is the capital city of Germany and it is also one of the 16 states of the Federal  Republic of Germany.  It is a metropolitan city that can compete with  Paris and London. It has numerous sights from museums to palaces, old and modern architecture and other sites of historic interest.

Here are some of the sights we visited during my trip last  2011.

The Brandenburg Gate is not only one of the famous and iconic structure in Berlin but in whole of  Germany as well. The dream of seeing the capital city of Germany came true last February 2011.

The Gendarmenmarkt is a square in Berlin, and the site of the Konzerthaus and the French and German Cathedrals. The Concert House  on the left side and the French cathedral on the middle right side. I was there!
