those Were The Working Days

One, two, three, it is actually over six years now since I am jobless. Time is really passing so quick! I can say that I am happily jobless with a full time job. Am I quite confusing? I believed yes!  but not really. lol!

I had walk with hubby this afternoon. While we were talking as we  walk, I was telling him to support my happiness. One of it is my passion for traveling. Being a jobless, he said that I am probably the most traveled jobless person in the world. I was laughing while he told me that.

But mind you guys I miss my job especially as a banker.  After finishing a Bachelors Degree in Accountancy, I applied at the bank  before our graduation. Thanks God I was hired one week before I graduated. I  had an early retirement at the age 30, after a 9 years service at the bank. After that, I opened a merchandising store with the retired money that I received. Later,  I had  to transfer it to my brother because I have to join my husband in Europe. In Germany, I was hired as Shift Supervisor in one of the stores at the US Army  base  near our place. I could still remember checking the workplace suggestion boxes being part of my supervisory tasks. I really did not miss this job but I did all my best to do my responsibilities as a store supervisor. I was proud after receiving two Team awards in that store.

Those were my working days. There were experiences that taught me some lessons after all those jobs. I also learned how to deal with people and how to be a mature and a professional individual.

Now, I am quite contented with the simple and happy life that I have. Thanks Goodness for all!
