Time to Visit Christmas Markets in Germany

How many days more before the holiday season?  I believed many of you are counting now.  The month of November is finally here and this is the month where the Christmas markets in Germany are starting.  It is also known as the Christkindlesmarkt, Christkindlmarket, Weihnachtsmarkt or Christkindlmarkt.

This is time where you can experience German culture, local delicacies,  the aroma of  Glühwein or mulled wine, shopping for Christmas decors  or maybe a quick sightseeing in the town or city  where  it  is held. Buildings steeped in history are illuminated by thousands upon thousands of fairy lights, while the aroma of gingerbread wafts through the air.

There are a lot of  fabulous and interesting  Christmas markets to visit  in this country.  Whether  you are in  Bavaria, Rhineland Pfalz, hamburg, Berlin, Bremen, Thuringia,  Saxony or any other parts of Germany, you will surely have an unforgettable experience  during your visit.

Most of the Christmas markets in Germany begin  at the last week of November and end  on the
 23rd of December.

I will share  soon some of the interesting Christmas markets to visit in Bavaria, Germany.
