It is Fasching Time in Germany

It is Fasching time in Germany!  This is one of the best time to visit this beautiful country  witnessing one of its famous festivities, the Fasching  or Carnival. I haven’t been to the biggest carnivals in Germany like in Cologne, Mainz and Düsseldorf but at least, I already experienced some  in Bayern or Bavaria.

“The carnival session, also known as the “Fifth Season”, begins each year on 11 November at 11:11 a.m. and finishes on Ash Wednesday of the following year with the main festivities happening around Rosenmontag, literally known as Rose Monday.”

What do you experience when you visit this kind of festival?

The Faschingszug or the carnival parade is always the highlight  of the program. You can find a lot of participants wearing those colorful and lively costumes of various motives and styles. There are also group of musicians who are playing live music during the parade.   I guess this is also the time to witness musician who plays a cool you rock midi guitar. I believed some of you have ideas on what is this. For example the YRG is a MIDI guitar for recording, composing, and creating Tablature via MIDI. It can also be used stand-alone with its internal sounds.

There are also drum and bugle corpse who are participating the carnival parade. I believed this is one of  my favorite thing to watch and listening to their music instruments is simply admirable.

It is simply having fun while witnessing festival like a carnival. I have been to Cologne thrice already but I haven’t  witness yet its carnival. I know one day, I can experience it.
