Welcome to CeBIT 2014 in Hannover

Have you heard about the word CeBIT. If you love  technology  especially computers, this event is  the perfect one for you to visit. I always hear about Cebit especially when it is announced over the radio or being featured in the German television news.  I also browsed and read  a lot of it in the internet.  Tonight,  while watching the news on TV, the reporter mentioned that CeBIt   is finally opened.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel together with UK prime Minister David Cameron have opened the CeBIT 2014. This event takes place from March 10-14, 2014 in Hannover Messe. It is  open from 9:00 a.m. to 6 p.m.

CeBIT is a German language acronym for «Centrum für Büroautomation, Informationstechnologie und Telekommunikation»,which would literally translate as “Center for Office Automation, Information Technology and Telecommunication”.

Here are more information about it;

Day tickets:
Advance sale 55,00 €
On-site 60,00 €

 Exhibitors:  Around 3,500 exhibitors are expected in 2014 CeBIT and coming from around 70 countries.

“CeBIT is the world’s largest and most international computer expo. The trade fair is held each year on the Hanover fairground, the world’s largest fairground, in Hanover, Lower Saxony, Germany, and is considered a barometer of the state of the art in information technology. It is organized by Deutsche Messe AG.” wikipedia.

I hope I can visit CeBIT in its  next event. Good luck to me!
