Christmas is around the corner! Are you ready for it? I hope so! I guess, I am! I am glad that the Christmas decors were finally done in the cozy home. I started putting the decorations last month because I know that I will be very busy for December. Yes, indeed I am very busy these days.
Are you visiting Germany this month? I highly recommend you to visit the Christmas market that is currently going on wherever you are in Germany. Whether you are in Bavaria, Rhineland-Palatinate, Saxony, Baden Wurttemberg, Hesse or any regions and cities in the country, you can experience the exciting and beautiful Christmas markets everywhere.
One of the beautiful market I visited in this country was in Bamberg. While walking around the market, you can already hear the sounds of Christmas songs and carols. The spirit of the holiday season can truly be felt while listening to it.
One thing, I experienced when visiting a Christmas market are the live performances on stage. Musicians using musical instruments like trumpet, trombone, guitar, piano and more, while playing Christmas music. I am only curious how much is a trombone since I talked with a former colleague who is playing this kind of instrument. I was surprised that he can play such gadget.
Don’t miss tasting the Christmas foods and cookies when visiting a Christkindlmarket in Germany. Christmas cookies such as Lebkuchen and Magenbrot (both forms of soft gingerbread), candied or toasted almonds and more. Tasting Glühwein or hot mulled wine is also a must especially when it is so cold.
I wish you all a wonderful holiday season! Have fun but be safe!
